The Concept of Land calls into question the relationship with land is an unnatural removal of the land’s agency. Colonial powers made the relationship with the land inferior and those who chose to live harmoniously with the land inferior as well. However, the future will require us to reengage with Indigenous practices to give agency back to land and view our relationship with the land as equals.

Travelling in Transitions unravels the issues of travelling under caste equates to unsafe and overwhelming conditions. The illustration instead imagines a fantastical future of compassion-focused travel.

Surviving in Time escapes the noise of life into a transitional state of the Lo-Fi genre of music. It focuses on how music creates space to pause and consider one’s place in caste, in work, in life, and in identity.

Fake Body is an artwork focused on a core part of my identity. Religion, faith, or spirituality is often used to enforce caste throughout history. Personally, the “body of Christ” has become a place of misinformed hierarchy, institutionalization, and nationalism. To break away from caste would require a future of radical communities for Christ’s Care.

Medicine for the “Healthy” reveals how the Dominant Group Status Threat mentality is killing those perceived at the top of hierarchies through despair, anger, and misplaced safety. It frames the path forward from this mentality to prevent mental, physical, and spiritual damage. The healing process begins by reframing identity through the view of cultural impact, institutional impact, and personal impact known as the Liberation Triangle Model.

Change the View is an illustration that focuses on how art re-contextualizes capitalist representation by creating spaces for conversations of change instead of the distraction of entertainment and capitalist representation.

Breakers and Builders summarizes the thesis by remembering the pillars that form caste. By breaking the pillars, we can make space for the collective building of community, compassion, and equals. A better understanding that the natural space was always in our diverse collectives.
