“Aura” – Uniqueness is found within the content, not the material. Aura explores the idea of human touch or spirit in the world of creative-making in the age of mechanical reproduction. Where identity cannot be encapsulated into labels, instead a fluid and continuous becoming, a series of states to be experienced.

“New Rites” – New Rites represents the human form stuck in an endless loop of performance and consumption that mimics spiritual circularity or coherence in a disenchanted world. Where everyone reacts to everyone else rapidly and performatively at lighting speed.

“Desire” – Suffering is engendered through Desire. The piece represents human yearning for physical or immaterial things to fill in for meaning, to designate a purpose onto a purposeless existence. In modernity religious or mythical text is viewed as unscientific, what now can answer unending doubt?

“Desolation” – Desolation is the story of technological advancement promises prosperity, yet brings forth unintended consequences. At its zenith only a few can truly reap its benefits, to the dismay of the world.

“Reflection” – Reflection is Mankind’s tendency to instill their image upon their creations.

“Dancer” – Dancer is an East Asian application of futurism techniques engendering unity and heritage.

“Cave” – Cave Is a temple construct made from the marriage between the biological and the mechanical, to reconstruct an image of the divine. Inspired by the Ajanta Ellora caves, it represents a past that can never be returned to.

“Ajanta” – Encroachment of technology promises transcendence through consumption, where identity is commodity packed and wrapped up to become a reproducible template. This is what Ajanta reflects. NonThesisWork Chase is part of Blinding Lights – a sequential narrative about two youthful romantics working within a crime syndicate, progressively making a series poorer life decisions until it ultimately catches up to them.
