Water Guzzler This illustration is about GenAIs impact on the environment. GenAI data servers consume the fresh drinking water within the area where they are located in order to cool their servers. This results in water poisoning and little to no water pressure in the surrounding neighbourhoods, effectively making it so that they are no longer livable.

F*CK AI This zine is a commentary on GenAI chatbots. In the zine, we see the main character typing into her phone throughout her daily life, telling the chatbot about her likes and dislikes. At the end, the chatbot emerges from the phone as her “perfect date”, a horrible photobashed amalgamation that our main character is actually into. This is meant to provide a humorous look at addiction to GenAI chatbots; some go so far as to call them their spouses and significant others.

TV Window Viewing This piece comments on AI in marketing and advertising. An AI ad plays on the screens of the TVs in a window, the product advertised is unusable, and the spokesperson is eerily inhuman. The reflection of the window shows a human person looking on in disgust.

Identity Theft Identity Theft represents generative AI stealing from real artists in order to create images. This piece features a glitchy demon with extra appendages, meant to represent AI, stealing the face right off an artist.

Corporate Pressure This illustration is a commentary on the use of GenAI in the corporate space. Tech companies insist on adding GenAI to every feature they create, aiming to spit back copies of the user to entice them to continue to use the platform.

I Saw This Yesterday I Saw This Yesterday examines issues in critical thinking caused by GenAI videos. This piece explores how some people can’t spot the difference between real and AI videos. These same people react to AI videos like they’re real, even if they’re filled with crazy things happening, as if they’ve seen them in person right in front of them.
