Women in medicine is a portrait series profiling ten important women who were overlooked throughout history. These women all made tremendous contributions to modern medicine and were never truly recognized for their accomplishments. This thesis highlights these women and honours them for their strength and persistence when pursing their passion for medicine and helping others.
