The "Shaping Me" series features eight symbolic portraits blending cultural illustration, conceptual art, human anatomy, and exhibition practice. It breaks the "self" into eight organ systems, using the body as a visual language for how we shape ourselves by understanding our inner world. Each piece in the series captures a moment of imbalance, breakdown, or coming together. It shows how the body can feel unbalanced, empty, or chaotic when its systems act on their own, get hurt, or stop working together. Only by bringing the body together with purpose can a person become a unique individual.
