Glimmering Haven is a series of illustrations that centers on seven insects we often come across in daily life — the fly, mayfly, fruit fly, ant, spider, ladybug, and moth. For each insect, I created both a digital piece and a colored sand painting. With “home” as the main theme, the project looks at their habitats from a very close-up, almost microscopic point of view, mixing real-life observation with dreamlike elements. By giving the insects human-like qualities, I hope to question the way we usually see them — not just as insects, but as living beings. And to express the idea that even the tiniest forms of life matter.
