Jenga / Climate Crisis The extraction of resources from an exponentially-unstable Jenga tower threatens the lives of the children living upon it. Pieces will be removed for profit until it inevitably topples over.

Guess Who / Prison-Industrial Complex The characters are confined within their cards– exploited for labour, and provided levity for their crimes based on an unfair judicial system.

Operation / Self-commodification Industries exploit the actual form by selling him commodities that promise the idealized form. The comparison of the two bodies is what makes the green.

Taboo / Censorship The woman inside looks to the viewer for help, but her message is concealed and buzzed-in as taboo.

Hedbanz / Media-induced Miscommunication Based on the headbands, everybody is at fault. The real offenders hide behind their cameras, perpetuating this scapegoating narrative to take the heat off themselves.

Snakes and Ladders / Social Immobility Fewer ladders and increasing snakes enforce a strict class system. Those on top ridicule those beneath them, unaware that the only difference between an ‘us’ and ‘them’ is one untimely fall.

Solitaire / Queerphobia In a deck of black and red, organized with a specific hierarchy– there exist a plethora of cards of indeterminable suits and colours that don’t fit into the nuclear family model.

The Game of Life / Disillusion of the American Dream The game of life has already been won, leaving behind a system with choices and paths that will never go down the winning road again. It’s not broken– this is exactly how it was meant to be played.
