“Digital Husks” explores how digital technology impacts users by comparing its mechanisms and components to death and decay in nature. Technology is increasingly complex, and the way the internet works is often obscured. However, these systems are made specifically for users; how they operate, and ultimately break down, is reflected in the user experience.
Inspired by science fiction imagery, this series contrasts cold and organized technological elements with organic and unpredictable nature. The way nature grows and decomposes becomes the way these technological concepts are explored and explained.
